| My week started out great. I finished my clearance, went to Galleria twice, been in Pasig City thrice, been in Katipunan 4 times, and was out of the house for 7 consecutive times. We had a gig last Friday, and we were paid, we watched Pyromania, and it was fun. And robbers came to our coffee shop and robbed us. And that happened about 30 minutes ago. Man, it sucks. | | |
| I haven't been able to update for the past few days because of the
exams, and doing a lot of things. The highlight event for this week is
the prom. Oh yes, the Promenade. Right now, I'm experiencing extreme
prom hangover. Haha! It's also my Mom's birthday today. (or should I
say, yesterday)
We celebrated my Mom's birthday in Chef d'Angelo
in SM Fairview today. We just ate and spent time with each other. The
food there is delicious! And cheap too! We took home some extras. Haha!
For
the past few days, I've been getting jitters about this event. Why?
Well, I don't know what to expect. Fast forward to Saturday. I woke up
at around 11 am, and yesterday was also Bullet's birthday. I really
can't remember what happened that particular afternoon, but I remember
bringing the car to the carwash, and going out and using the car
without permission to give Bullet's gift to her. Haha! Anyway, fast
forward to fetching Trish. I arrived at their house in Teacher's
Village at around 6:45-ish, and I entered her house, and I saw her.
She's beautiful. =) I gave her a boquet of flowers and her corsage. We
took a few (well, maybe a lot) pictures together in their house and
left. We arrived at Gazebo Royale at around 7:30-ish. The program
already started and there were no vacant tables left. For about 15 to
20 minutes, we just stood there, roamed around and looked for a table.
Then, we decided to eat dinner first and just meet each other later.
So, we did that and we seated in the right side of the gazebo and Raph,
Boom, Lawrence and Steff seated at the left side of the gazebo. I
seated next to Hernan and Jamela. We ate dinner and roamed around the
place. Gazebo Royale is just breath-taking. We took pictures again.
Haha! We spent time with each other and talked about anything that we
can think of. We tried to dance but it already ended when we got to the
dance floor. Back to the tables again for another segment of the
program, but this time, we sat together. Me, Trish, Mark, Raph, Boom,
Lawrence and Steff all in one table. We got to talk to each other but
it seemed that Trish and I were the most quiet among the group. Maybe
because it was the lack of sleep (or maybe coffee) or we couldn't hear
what they were talking about. After the segment, we watched the
Cotillion, and back to dancing again. We went in and out of the dance
floor because of not feeling the music, there weren't many people, our
companions wouldn't join us and we took a break. I really can't dance
to hif haf music. I just can't feel it. Haha! Then, the slow
dance came. I think we danced to at least a good 4 songs, and the last
dance for the night ended. Back to the tables again for the awarding. I
was surprised that Gab was the prom king and Faye (or Monica to others)
was the prom queen. Faye is the cousin of Miko! Haha! And another award
which I can't remember went to Kristine Bernal, Gab's cousin.
Conspiracy? Hahaha! I was supposed to accompany her home but Lawrence
said that she'll just go with him. We took 2 more pictures before
leaving the table. Before her car arrived, I gave her a token. A
souvenir. It's a bracelet with her Zodiac sign on it. The necklace is
pretty. After a few minutes, her car arrived, and we bid each other our
goodbyes. After a while, my dad arrived and left and went to Meralco
since it's their Employee's day and there was a concert of some sort
there. They have a spot there and sold drinks.
March 12, 2005 is one of the most unforgettable nights of my life.

| The last regular school day went on great! We did practically nothing
except the signing of clearance and the chapter quiz in Maths. And I
had a hard time with the quiz. Even if you're armed with a calculator, your mind
doesn't work because of all the ideas and thoughts all coming in at the
same time. Thinking on what formula to use, the SOHCAHTOA, and
what buttons to press on the calculator gave me a hard time on what to
write on my paper. Anyway, I finished the exam just in the nick of
time. Nothing really happened, except for the chapter quiz that was
pretty much the highlight of the last regular school day of the year.
Tomorrow is our 4th periodical exams and I haven't studied yet. Our
exams for tomorrow are Maths and English, and Music too. The reason for
that is because we didn't meet for the past month, I think, and we'll
never have Music for the school year again. Haha! Thanks to the chapter
quiz in Maths, I was able to study at least half of the coverage of the
periodical exams for tomorrow. For English, well, stock knowledge?
Probably not. I will read the stories that were given in our
pointers and not make the same mistake as the last time I took the
exams. I didn't read anything and what did I get? A failing remark in
the exams. Never again shall that happen. Hahaha!
Dream Theater mode!
Dream Theater is a progressive rock band that is famous all over the
world. Their bassist, John Myung, went to Makati for a clinic that was
sponsored by Yamaha, or Yupangco. Whatever. Anyway, Mio was so damn
lucky, he got in and was able to see my idol bassist. He invited me to
go, but I had stuff to do, and now, I kinda regret not going. And
because of that, for the past few days, I've been listening to Dream
Theater non-stop. I set a goal for myself. I will learn "Overture 1928" by Dream Theater on my 4 string bass. John Myung did that on a 6 string bass. Well, good luck to me then!
School
related issues is the topic for this paragraph. The drug bust is still
a hot issue among us students. I noticed some of my batchmates gather
in little groups of around 4 or 5, and talk about it with a grim
expression on their face. There are students that got kicked out. Well,
they deserve it. Drugs are a big no-no.
| There was a drug bust yesterday, and some of our batchmates got caught
with the Valiums. Man, with only 1 school day to go and exams... The
whole 3rd year watched the Pasamasid that took place yesterday at the
quadrangle. It's our last time to watch the Pasamasid because next
year, we will be the one's doing that. Anyway, the turn-over of the
officers and the COCC's took place. Our wing commander is none other
than Lean Belleza. Well, he won't be the wing commander if he isn't
good. Haha!
Today, we did our project in English. It was our
First Lines, aka wasting your time by reading a poem. I arrived in
Claret about 8:45 am and I wasn't really surprised that it hasn't
started yet, even if Ms. Aguilar told us that it'll start at 8 am.
There was a shooting that took place in school. There were celebrities
there and these are TV personalities of GMA 7. Joel Torre and Amy
Austria to mention a few. After the 1st lines, I roamed around Claret.
I didn't want to go home yet because my parents went to the province,
and still, they're not home. I went home around 12:30, and just bummed
around. With nothing to do, what better way to spend your time is to
sleep. Oh yes. I got my well deserved rest. And I woke up exactly 3:45
pm, just in time to watch Gals. Gals is a cheering competition between
exclusive school for girls, hence the name. There were 4 schools that
competed. Poveda, Assumption San Lorenzo, Paref Rosehill and St.
Scholastica. The reason why I watched Gals is because my friend
competed there. (Hi Steff! :) ) Anyway, I kinda enjoyed watching it.
Not because of sight seeing or something, but I like to watch dances.
Poveda is really good. Well, they won the event. Haha! So, Paref
Rosehill and St. Scholastica being the 2nd runner up, Assumption San
Lorenzo being the 1st runner up and Poveda being the champions of the
said event. Congratulations Steff! I saw you on TV! Haha! :)
After
Gals, back to bumming around again. I'm not used to Saturdays without
doing anything. I've been chatting since, taking little breaks like
eating, or just resting my eyes. A very unproductive day.
